Exhibition at John Stinson Fine Arts: Check back soon to see to see my exhibition of 30 black & white 20 x 24 inch photographs entitled "The Jazz Lenses - Photographs of Jazz Musicians in New Orleans" which was on view from April 24 through May 31, 2003. The opening was Saturday night on April 26. John Stinson Fine Arts is located at 900 South Peters Street in New Orleans. Keep checking back to see this show featured here online.
Exhibition at The Jazz Bakery: An exhibition of 20 x 24 inch black & white photographs entitled "New Orleans Jazz - Photographs of Jazz Fest and the soul of New Orleans" which will be on view beginning August 9 through October 3, 2002 at Bakery Art Exhibitions. The exhibition space is in the lobby of The Jazz Bakery located at 3233 Helms Avenue in Culver Cily (Los Angeles).
New Orleans Jazz Festival 2002: The highlight of this Jazz Fest was the Wayne Shorter Quartet with Brian Blade, John Patitucci and Danilo Perez. This Jazz Fest featured Victor Goines, Wynton Marsalis, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews, Abby Lincoln, Nicholas Payton and more.
New Orleans Jazz Festival 2001: This Jazz Fest brought some amazing players including Roy Hargrove, Nicholas Payton, Max Roach, Jimmy Scott, Terence Blanchard, Roland Guerin, Clark Terry, Jeremy Davenport, Irvin Mayfield, Randy Weston, Donald Edwards, Ramsey Lewis, Elvin Jones, and many many more!!! These photographs are only a very small sampling of what I photographed at this years' Jazz Fest.
New Orleans Jazz Festival 2000: It just keeps getting better and better with each year!!! This past year featured Roland Guerin, Irvin Mayfield, Donald Harrison Jr., Nicholas Payton, Chick Corea & Gary Burton, Jason Marsalis, Mark Whitfield, Dianne Reeves, Terence Blanchard and Diana Krall....just to name a few!!!
New Orleans Jazz Festival 1999: This year featured Terence Blanchard, Roland Guerin, Irvin Mayfield, Nicholas Payton and his dad Walter Payton, Joshua Redman and Dave Brubeck....again, just to name a few!!!

Jeremy Davenport: On location in Los Angeles to photograph Jazz trumpeter and vocalist Jeremy Davenport for his Telarc CD release "Maybe In A Dream" and various other photographs of Jeremy Davenport around New Orleans.
Tony do Rosario: Guitarist Tony do Rosario performs regularily around Los Angeles at Catalinas, The Baked Potato, Lunaria and other clubs. Most recently Tony do Rosario and his Six String Friends performed at the Baked Potato with guitarists Ron Escheté, Sid Jacobs and Joe Pisano with drummer Mark Ferber and Joe Bagg on organ.
Bebel Gilberto: Brazilian singer Bebel Gilberto performing at House of Blues Los Angeles.
Henry Grimes: After more than 20 years, Henry Grimes picked up the bass once again and performed at World Stage in Los Angeles' Leimert Park Village on Friday, March 21, 2003.
Roland Guerin: The Roland Guerin Sextet featuring Antonio Gambrell, Derek Douget, Brice Winston, Fred Sanders and Donald Edwards. Photographed in the dressing room and live on stage at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City.

Roy Hargrove: Roy Hargrove on trumpet and flugelhorn at Catalinas in Hollywood.
Donald Harrison Jr.: Donald Harrison on tenor sax performing at Sweet Lorraines Jazz Club in New Orleans with Roland Guerin on bass and Ricky Sebaston on Drums. Joining them on stage were Nicholas Payton on trumpet, Jonathan Lefcoski on piano, Willie Metcalf sitting in on piano on a couple tunes and trumpeter Christian Scott.

Pete Jolly: Pianist Pete Jolly with bassist Bob Maize in Los Angeles.
Norah Jones: Blue Note's Norah Jones with Lee Alexander on bass and Adam Levy on guitars performing at House of Blues in Los Angeles.
Charlotte Martin: These photographs were taken at Charlotte Martin's home and in the recording studio throughout the rehearsal and recording of her debut CD. Produced and recorded by Tom Rothrock in Los Angeles.
Arte Mixto: Arriving straight from Cuba to perform at The Conga Room in Los Angeles on the first date of their U.S. tour.
Marcus Roberts: Performing with drummer Jason Marsalis and bassist Roland Guerin at Catalinas in Los Angeles. The evening turned into quite an event when Wynton Marsalis, Bob Hurst, Herlin Reily, Marcus Printup, and Ronald Westrey got up on stage at the end of the evening for an amazing jam session. Also most recently performing at downtown Los Angeles' Union Train Station with drummer Jason Marsalis and bassist Roland Guerin.
Keely Smith: Performing at House of Blues in West Hollywood for the debut of her new CD on Concord Records.
Erik Truffaz: French Blue Note jazz trumpeter performing at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood.
Mark Whitfield: Performing at Catalinas Jazz Club in Hollywood with Donald Edwards on drums Peter DeLano on piano and Ruben Rogers on bass.
Cassandra Wilson: Performing at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans during the Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Matt Zebley: Photographed in downtown Los Angeles. Matt plays regularily around town with King Cake and other groups.
